This week's challenge for Different Strokes From Different Folks blog of Karin Jurick is an Alabama Cow . I've never painted a cow before so this is my 1 st. one and I have not touched watercolors in a while . The advantage of the DSFDF blog is it gets me to practice more out of my comfort zone and to paint something I would of not picked like the NYSE. BUT it's a lot of FUN so check all the entries.

Great job, Dominique! Wonderful expression on her face and it looks like you've always done watercolor.
Thanks Edward,
I think I've been putting it off until today because I was concerned about been able to do this with watercolor.
Love it Dominique! I agree that DSFDF is great for "taking us out of our comfort zone" - and I really look forward to your painting each week. I'm so glad to have "met" you:)
Your piece definitely has a statement Dominique and a good statement at that! Love how fresh it looks, wonderful use of the medium, I agree with the previous response, it DOES look like you've always used watercolors!
Thank you Shelly the feeling is likewise. I am so blessed to have even more friends now.
Thank you Erika, If I keep using these I hope to be as good as you one day.
I'm so happy to see that you've PAINTED your first DSFDF challenge!
I also noticed your use of white paint. Good to know your not a purist :)
