"tea pot, gourde and dead rose"
8 x 10 Oil
Well here is another of my exercises for my oil class. Not the best but I am really liking this oil paint. The only thing I have to get use to is wiping my brush so much in between colors and such. But I love how the paint mixes and blends.
I had to get a regular job to make ends meet so I am not posting as much sorry.

Now, this is it! Brilliant rendition in Oil! You've been struck by the oilbug, you ain't gonna escape this one!
Thanks Adebanji
I don't think I want to get rid of that bug...lol.
It's lovely with such great light! Like a modern take on the old masters.
congratulations , Dominique, for the silvery!Very nice.
This is the beauty of oil with Dominique's talent.
What a graet piece!
I think we hooked another one lady! Oil paints are so much fun, and it's obvious from this that you are a natural!
Michelle,
I was stressing a bit on this one with all those reflections. Thanks for the comment.
Silviane,
I will have to practice more on that Silvery stuff.
Thanks.
Irit,
I'm playing with your medium.... it is fun.
Dana,
well with your example I can only improve.
Dominique, I think this is beautiful, especially the teapot silver. Beautiful shine and such elegance!
Great work.
AutumnLeaves,
Thank you. It's fabulous having your stop by.
William Cook,
I love a person direct and to the point. Thank you
Wow!! beautiful work!! I've never worked in oil!! I'm so impressed with your piece!!
Manon,
Thank you . You should try oil, it is a different feel. I would say sometimes it is easier than acrylic. But because I liked instant dry acrylic was what i used most but this really enable you to blend things in a much different way.
You really nailed the reflective quality of the tea pot, Dominique - well done!
THis is really beautiful, love it. Hope all is well with your new job, what are you doing?
The painting is lovely... there is nothing quite like the feel of oil paint.
Ouch! about the 'real job'. Hope it leaves you energy to paint.
