This is another one I finished later from that same workshop. Here I applied crackle paint then added 3 different washes over it and wipe it so that the colors would be mostly in the grooves of the crackle than I added the transfers and a little more paint.

These are gorgeous Dominique!!! Another reason to save to visit you so I can do workshops like these with you.
Thanks Sheila I would love it.
Very beautiful pieces, Dominique!
Thank Edward =)
Hm...Well, first, I think the warm colors match well with the flowers; it's funny that you titled this "I'm tickled", since nice pinks and light purples are the colors I most associate with the concept of ticling (if that even makes sense). I think some of the color cracks could have been better done; how did you do it, if you don't mind me asking? It's very nice.
Spider G,
It does since the expression is "Tickled pink" as in happy, I just omitted the pink in the title.
The color cracks are not always under your will !
But this was more about goofing around with the products. This is Golden paint crackle paint you apply and let dry and wait for it to crack ! after that you add paint that settles in the grooves and wipe it off then you add anything on top you want.
I hope this helps
I love these workshop pieces! What fun! Really lovely effects with the crackle finish.
Howdy stranger...getting back to visiting around a bit and it looks like you have really been busy...and it looks good. A pat on the back for helping Adebanji, and congrats for the 2 pieces in the show.
Liz, Thank you
James,
Thanks. Nice to see you, sort off ! I'm sad Adebanji did not win but I'm happy to see the rally that got around him. In that same art show I am a judge for the student show case ,I wonder what I will find !

Dominique, I meant to comment earlier on this piece.
It is such an interesting technique, and it would be great to see a whole series of these if it is something that you enjoyed doing.
