" I REJOICE "

12 x 18 acrylic
I started to play with some paints the other day and this is what was done. But as I was painting I was thinking of a sort of flag because I painted it on it's side. I changed my mind and will look at it in a vertical fashion from now on, I like it better that way.
I received many definition on the meaning of it that blessed me so, thank you.

Hi Dominique, I don't know if it's of any help, but when I first look at this in either direction I think of a flock of butterflies.

Mona and Irit ,
Yes I like the Birds or butterflies. When I get a few more thoughts from others I will give what I thought came out of it.

Hi Dominique!
When I first saw the thumbnail of the first painting I couldn't recognize anything known, then I thought "are those butterflies?" or a "flock of ... some kind of bird?", just like Mona and Irit (I'm not making it up!), Then I thought you were posting an abstract.
The second image made me think of a pile of fall leaves begining to be blown by the wind.
At first I liked both the same, but now that I have a rational explanation, I think I'll "vote" for the second.
Best regards,
Carolina

I like the vertical and I see a big Koi fish or whatever you call those Chinese fish that they always carve.

I prefer verticle, too. The color reads better in that direction, and there's something uplifting and joyous about it. I see flowers blooming and blowing in the wind. It's a very spiritual piece.

Liz,
Your absolutely right . It is a spiritual piece. I asked God to guide me hand and do whatever.
I believe it is to be vertical also.
I see a lady dancing /praising in a whirlwind of his HS.
