I've been to Fort McHenry in Baltimore and seen the spot where it was written. Very memorable.

What an engaging storyteller, his voice swept me right in. I feel I should acknowledge also that over history many other non-Christian, non-American men and women did choose to die standing rather than live on their knees, whether they were in country armies, community justice struggles, or simply individual lives.
