Really lovely. You're a magician with that tombow pen, Dominique. Our magnolia doesn't have a super strong scent (unless my sniffer isn't working properly--which could be!) Looking forward to seeing your color rendition, too.
Thanks L.Holm I did not realize their scent until the one I found in my landlords yard.
Great! You seem to be really enjoying the tom bows!
Adebanji , Yes I do, but I feel like I haven't yet taken them to my limit. in terms of strokes style with them. On a side note they seem to eat my paper if I go over an area more than ounce, does that happen for you also ?
I don't know what color this magnolia blossom is, but the white ones are stunning. An appropriate post title from someone with a "great spirit!"
EPTAS, = ) The white ones are my favorites too as is this one. Thank you for such a nice compliment.
I can smell it here too all the way to SM..What a beautiful work.
IRIT, Thanks : )
Yes Dominique, this happens to me too, so I use very heavy paper when using it exetensively.
Lovely ink painting!
Wow, this is just beautiful Dominique.
Desiree, Vern, Thank you both very much.
Very lovely, Dominique.
Edward Thanks , =)
Very nicely done
David, Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
This is lovely, Dominique! Great composition and values. I grew up in Calif. with a Magnolia tree in our front yard. They are such amazing flowers. Can't wait to see your colored version!
Cheryl , yes they are great trees , thank you for coming by.
Looking over your blog. Really wonderful paintings. I like your style
Gary, Thank you your very kind. I love your plains and thunderstorms.
Whew, Dominique..great to have a bit of good Internet service. It looks like you have really been busy while I have been country-hopping...It looks great. Magnolias are such nice subjects..my Mom's favorite. I really thank you for your dear and encouraging comments while I've been in limbo...it means a lot to me.
