1. DOES anyone use "Fine Art America" to sell prints ?
2. Do you like it ?
3. Why or why not ?
4. Have you seen the result of your work through them ? do you like it ?

I have several paintings of FAA. The only ones I've sold are from my portrait series. The prints are 8x8 with a 1 inch white border.
I would say the quality is EXCELLENT.
Of course, the quality of the image you send them is the key.
You can't expect to sell through FAA unless you market them yourself (on your blog, website) because the site is so huge. David Cheifitz does his marketing through his newsletters ( I am a subscriber.)
I think that's a really smart way to market your prints. It's to people who are already interested in your work because they signed up to be on your newsletter list.
Carol,
Thank you for such a thorough answer with great advice. I appreciate this very much.
I think it was Karla (Life on the Flip Side) that just wrote on this same subject. Or it was Nancie Johnson (Art is Not a Thing). I'm a member but don't have any art on the site (I don't think).
Boy I'm all over the place, aren't I? So sorry I couldn't be of more help Dominique.
As you know from my blog, I have some of my work on FAA also. I have sold some prints through FAA. It was a short time before Christmas (so I assume they were bought as gifts). But only prints of my photography sold, no prints of my paintings have sold. I thought the quality of the prints/cards was excellent too. And it does really matter on the quality of the image you upload to the site. Also, as Carol wrote, you can order prints & cards for yourself & then do your own marketing/selling. I haven't tried this -- yet!
