Sniff !! :(
Well my daughter age 23 left for Thailand on a missions trip leading 15 college students (just a year or two younger than her) to help in an orphanage with one gentleman co-leader for 3 weeks. I'm mentioning this because at the last minute we realized she did not have a camera hers just broke, so away mine went ! Now posting will be a bit more difficult, Oh well .

Oh YOU! I thought you were sniffing because you're going to be utterly lost without your daughter(lol)
Life will not be the same, Dominique, but we'll wait for you:)
P.S. Perhaps you could re-post some previous sketches/artwork? Mums the word!
Dominique, you are a great Mom!!
EPTAS,
You might be a bit right about missing my daughter. But her task is a bit more important that my whining about not being able to talk with her. I am sad to not be able to post the stuff I just did BUT you are so right with the suggestion.
MOna,
THank you are so sweet. I do enjoy being a mom. Maybe it's French in me all those hugs and kisses.
Oh no! Great news for your adventrous daughter! Hope something miraculous happens!
YEA, Adebanji,
like a camera falling in my lap !!!!! OK I should think that for her over there, oops !
Wow, how great your daughter is doing this--how sad to miss her, (and about your camera!). But a good cause. Then we can see pics of her work in Thailand when she returns :-)
Come over and take my old one, only 3 years old.
You are a great Momma.Look at the bright side, you dont have 4 kids. LOL.
Big hug, IB
Dominique, imagine all the incredible photos and stories she'll come back with...we will be sure to see some amazing paintings from you as you share her mission trip with us. Thank goodness for people like your daughter who take on students (jr. high, high school, and college) to introduce them to the Lord; I wish her well, and you while you miss her!
LIZ,
Thanks, I will post a few pictures of her trip upon her return.
IRIT,
Your funny if I had the room I would take them of your hands. But I understands somedays I'm happy there is no other kids.
Angela,
Thank you I am very proud of her. It is funny how God blesses our hearts desires, she does love to travel ! This did not cost her a penny !
My heart just aches to think about your daughter so far away. It is wonderful of you to be so selfless to give up your daughter and of course giving her everything of yours even if it is dear and necessary to your life, like your camera. The bright side is cameras are better and cheaper than ever and now you can start searching for your new camera, one with a bigger screen, better features and more memory. Oh by the way, congratulations on raising a wonderful child.
PAT,
Thank you very much. =)
