This is great. It looks peaceful. The use of the blues and line work shows so much atmosphere. Lovely.

Hi Dominique! This was a fun project, my first time participating. All the red stop lights, made me think to call it All Stop. And that of course took me right to star trek! Your interpretation is very nice too! I love water colors, but have not had the courage to try them yet. I can't wait to see what Karin comes up with next for the Different Strokes challenge! Hi Dominique. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such nice comments. I paint with oils and had to look up the definition of FRISKET. Just as TJ Lev 'fessed up, I haven't the courage to do water colors. Don't know why - just don't. Especially seeing what REAL water colorists do!!! :-)

I can't say I can call myself a watercolorist. I think it's a lot harder that Oils or Acrylics. But these challenges are good to try new techniques , It's fun even if you flop. Thanks for coming by.

Liz, Thanks, actually because I did this almost like Batik. It was kind of fun but did not know the final result so it's a bit different when your somewhat blindfolded. Regular watercolors are so much harder.
I love the washed out effect of the buildings, and the contrast of that shade of blue and the yellows of the taxis!
P.S. Frisket sounds just like brisquet, so I'm hungry, again:)
